The ‘Occurrance ff G40, F84, F20, F10 and F44.9 in Literature Between 1880-2008’ is a piece made for the closing exhibition of the Understanding Media, Art and Design course in fall 2016 by:

The shapes of the acrylic boards visualize the occurrence of a certain word in literature through 1880-2008. The words, displayed with their scientific code in the title of the piece, are words that are used do describe symptoms that are or have been perceived as mental disorders or dysfunctions. The texture etched on the sheets of acrylic are descriptions of the conditions from scientific literature.
